Generate Midjourney AI Images with Your Own Photos
AI images and Midjourney have become very popular over a few years, making all the buzz among Internet users. You are probably here reading this article as you may have also wanted to try out AI images using Midjourney.
Here, I will provide you with a step by step guidance on how to create an AI image via Midjourney, using an image of your own as the source.
Please make sure you follow all the steps to get the best results.
Steps to Create AI Images using Our Own Images as the Source
1. Go to https://www.midjourney.com/home/ and Join the Beta programme. Then you will be redirected to the Discord app.
2. If you do not have a Discord account, you can create a new account there. Once you logged in, you will be redirected to a public server with a similar screen as below.
3. On the left side, you will have a vertical menu as below. Click the Plus (+) icon there to create a server for your own use instead of the public server that you first joined.
4. Then create a new server and customize it as you wish by giving it a name.
5. Then you will be redirected to the new server you have created. You can invite your friends to join it as well.
6. NOW THE MOST IMPORTANT STEPS. Go back to the Midjourney public server using the Midjourey logo on the left side menu and select a random public channel.
7. Once you go to a public channel, you can see its members on the top right corner of the screen. Click on the Midjourney Bot and Add it to your server.
8. Now go back to your private server. It is all set to generate AI images.
9. Here, you can generate AI images from scratch using keywords. Just type /imagine and select the prompt option. Then you can add keywords or statements to generate AI Images.
You will be asked to accept the Terms and Conditions before generating AI images. Make sure you do that.
Now, back to our topic. Let’s see how we can use our own images to generate AI art.
10. Using the Upload a File option, you can upload the images you want to create the AI images with.
11. Once the images are uploaded to the server, click on the image and open it. Then, if you are using a computer, Right Click and copy the link to the image.
12. Then, as in the above STEP 09, type /imagine and select the prompt option. Then paste the image link inside the prompt. Once the link is pasted, add your desired keywords at the end as shown below.
That is it. Then the images will be generated and you can try out different keywords to get various outcomes. Have fun with Midjourney !!
