What is Multilingual in Prompt Engineering?

The term “multilingual” in the context of prompt engineering implies that the engineered prompts are designed to cater to multiple languages, not just one. The AI model or chatbot trained with multilingual prompts will be able to understand and generate responses in various languages.

AI can help break language barriers by understanding and generating contents in various languages. Prompt engineering can help us build multi-language AI solutions. For instance, a multilingual AI could be designed to interpret and respond to user queries in English, Spanish, Mandarin, French, etc., based on the specific languages it’s been trained on.
