Traditional vs modern analytics data processing (part 1)

We witness, in the last couple of years, an explosion of tools in the data domain, called the “modern data stack” and professionals are choosing their sides, pointing either at the closed source of the traditional way, either at the missing pieces of the modern way. In this article I will go through the differences, which I, as a data engineer, consider the most important: error on write versus error on read and silent errors.
